Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis Kung-fu ~ Tai Chi Chuan


Thousands of years ago, ancient followers of Tao understood that people choose their own path in life.

One path is to struggle with the world, another is through awareness to seek harmony in all phases of your life. This insight that you get through your Martial Arts training is so important in today’s complicated and stressed out world.

At the Wah Lum Kung-Fu Academy & Tai Chi Center we have three phases of training.

HEALTH: The most important is your health; if you’re not healthy then you can’t help anyone including yourself. The Martial Arts if practiced correctly, relieve stress and heal illnesses ranging from high blood pressure, chronic back fatigue to neck and joint problems.

MEDITATION: Like water wears away a rock, meditation helps you dissolve your inner alienation and negative emotions to attain inner peace and harmony of mind, body and spirit.

SELF DEFENSE: Your system has to be practical to defend yourself. The techniques taught at the Wah Lum Kung-Fu Academy & Tai Chi Center are some of the most effective for self defense.

Keeping all this in mind, I wish to welcome all to the Wah Lum Kung-Fu Academy & Tai Chi Center who wish to make the world a nicer and better place to be. The seed is planted may we all grow.
