Sifu Jamie McGuire
Sifu McGuire over 50 years ago, started his Martial Arts Training at 6 years old with Judo. Then went on to study Tae Kwon Do, attaining a 3rd degree Black Belt by the age of 16
Sifu McGuire was a member of the first Tactical Neutralization Team for the USAF. While in the service he added to his knowledge of Martial Arts. Studying Kajukembo, Kuk Sool Wan, Hwa Rang Do, Kali, Chuan Fa, and Tai Chi Chuan.
Sifu McGuire traveled to China, Hawaii, Japan, Korea and the Philippines while he was in the Air Force studying and exchanging knowledge. In 1981 he returned home looking for a complete system of Martial Arts that fit his movement. Which led him to the Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis System. Where he studies to this day, under Si Baak Bob Rosen and Grandmaster Chan Pui.
Sifu McGuire traveled to Hawaii in 2004 with the US Martial Arts Team and won 4 Gold Medals. He also has been inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Ohio. He holds a Doctorate in Holistic Medicine. And continues to study the Chinese Healing Arts. Keeping in mind if you are going to learn to hurt someone you must know how to fix them.
His philosophy is that you must keep learning, realizing, the more you learn, the more there is to know. Through your knowledge and Martial Arts training you can make a difference in your life and others. And truly be the person you dream of being.
